InterX a Non-Invasive Interactive Neurostimulation (NIN) device
NIN is an advanced form of neurostimulation that integrates into existing treatment programmes to enable enhanced results in treating both Acute and Chronic pain. This stimulation has an interactive nature where each consequent signal from the device communicates with the nervous system through the skin.
How does it work?
The hand held InterX sends pulses through the skin at the area of damage/trauma and stimulates the nerve endings to pass the information to the Central Nervous System.
The patient may feel this working as a 'tingling' sensation working dynamically with the skin.The stimulus releases the body's own biochemicals (like endorphin, dopamine, etc. which are powerful pain-killers) which continue to work on pain and repair the injury.
As a result of this stimulation local microcirculation is improved bringing more molecules of Oxygen and nutrients to damaged cells and removing waste product, which suggests how accelerated healing may take place.
